Howlin' Beagle is Daniel Gunderson, folk-rock guitarist and singer, and those poor souls unfortunate enough to appear with him.

Currently Howlin' Beagle has featured:
  • Teresa Kintner (vocals)
  • Jason Neerenburg (acoustic guitar, vocals)
At the moment both are recovering in intensive therapy, and we wish them the best of luck in recovery.

Daniel's current style is a combination of folk and classic-rock influences. He plays electric and acoustic guitar, bass (fretted and fretless), harmonica, drums, and even keyboards if pressed. He has a known weakness for Les Pauls, Ovations, and Marshalls, though will admit to playing a Telecaster on occasion. He also nearly got kicked out of a ren faire for playing "Sweet Child O' Mine" on a vendor's hammered dulcimer, and banned from several folk establishments for playing AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" on a 12-string acoustic. Needless to say, he likes messing with genre boundaries.

Howlin' Beagle will be a featured performer at Demicon 18, and has performed at Capricon and Windycon. Despite court orders he can be found at several housefilks and music circles in the Chicagoland area.
